10, including 6 from same family, die in Ahmedabad road accident
A road accident in Gujarat's Ahmedabad on Friday claimed the lives of 10 people, including six members of the same family. The accident occurred while a total of 19 people were returning from a temple visit.
At least 10 people died in a road accident in Gujarat's Ahmedabad on Friday. The accident happened in Kheda, where the deceased included six members of the same family.
A total of 19 people, belonging to two families, had gone to Chotila Temple in the city and were returning home in a loading tempo, when the vehicle met with an accident.
Ten people died on the spot, while several others were taken to a hospital for treatment.
Meanwhile, the district authorities stepped up for the cremation of all the deceased.
Commenting on the incident, Mahendra Bhai, the village head, said he reached the village as soon as he received the information about the accident.
The deceased included two men, two women and two children, he said.
