By India Today Entertainment Desk: Jahnvi Kapoor lost her mother very early in her life. Veteran actress Sridevi died on February 24, 2018, just months before Jahnvi's debut. In a recent interview, the 'Bawaal' actress talked about how losing her mother was one of the biggest wars that she had to fight in her life.
JAHNVI KAPOOR ABOUT COPING WITH HER MOTHER'S DEATH
After debuting in Dhadak, opposite Ishaan Khatter, Jahnvi Kapoor has always impressed us with her acting skills. Her upcoming film 'Bawaal' is set against the backdrop of World War II. In a recent interview, she was asked about a war that she has faced in her life, to which she said, "I think definitely when I lost mom. I was shooting for Dhadak and dealing with her loss was quite tough." She also added, "Somehow finding the will to keep working and a way to deal with all of these things happening in our lives was tough. Figuring that out was definitely the biggest war in my life."

In another interview, she talked about how there was a huge hole in her heart due to the passing of her mother. She said, "When I lost mom, of course there was this huge tragedy, there was a hole in my heart. But there was this horrible feeling of ‘something bad has happened’ to justify all the great things in my life and all the privileges and the things that I got easily which I heard my entire life. I thought ‘Ok now something bad has happened. I deserve this. I deserve this horrible thing that has happened to me. It was a weird sense of relief."

Jahnvi had talked about how her mother used to call her 'laddoo' and how she spent most of her time at work after Sridevi's death, even though that time was very blurry as she does not remember much.“I don’t think I remember anything. That entire month was a blur for me and a long time after that was also a blur.” Sridevi passed away in February 2018 in Dubai.
