DMK to demand recall of Tamil Nadu governor; Mother, son killed as pillar collapses in Bengaluru; more

As the row between Tamil Nadu Chief Minister MK Stalin and governor RN Ravi escalates, the ruling DMK has sought an audience with President Droupadi Murmu seeking a recall of the governor. The controversy escalated on Monday after Ravi walked out of the Assembly Hall in a huff as CM Stalin moved a resolution condemning him for his `wanton’ omissions in a speech he gave. Meanwhile, in Bengaluru, a mother and her two-and-a-half-year-old son was killed after a pillar that was under construction collapsed on the vehicle they were sitting on. The two were sitting on a bike that was driven by the woman's husband when the pillar fell on them, crushing them to death.
