Chairman of Mahindra Group, Anand Mahindra, recently shared a video of an extraordinary suite on social media. But there’s a twist. The video is of a lavish underwater hotel.

Located in The Maldives, the underwater hotel is called The Muraka. Nestled 16 feet beneath sea level, The Muraka offers a unique experience of sleeping beneath the ocean surface, with a mesmerizing view of marine life.

However, despite its allure, Mahindra expressed his reluctance to spend a night in this submerged suite. He humorously admitted that he would likely stay awake throughout the night, anxiously searching for any cracks in the glass ceiling. In a Twitter post, Mahindra wrote, " The Muraka was the Maldives’ and the world's very first underwater hotel suite. I was sent this post with a suggestion that a stay here would ensure the most relaxed weekend rest. To be honest, I don’t think I would get a wink of sleepâ€æI would stay awake looking for cracks in the glass ceiling."

The video shared by Mahindra garnered attention from social media users, who had mixed reactions to the concept. Some found it reminiscent of an unwanted climax from the movie Jaws, while others expressed concerns about the potential risks associated with such innovative accommodations.
