The Toyota Rumion will be built by Maruti Suzuki and supplied to Toyota. In terms of differences to the Maruti Suzuki Ertiga, the Rumion sports a new bumper with chrome highlights, a new grille and new dual-tone alloys. The cabin layout is the same, but gets a blacked-out colour scheme with faux-wood inserts, while the upholstery is beige like the Ertiga.

The features list is also identical to the Ertiga, such as automatic climate control, roof-mounted aircon vents, 7 seats with folding capability, and smartphone connectivity. The safety suite includes four airbags, hill hold assist, ESP, ABS with EBD and brake assist and ISOFIX mounts. The Rumion also comes with a 7-inch infotainment display with wireless Android Auto and Apple CarPlay.

Powering the Toyota Rumion is the same 1.5-litre NA petrol from Maruti Suzuki which produces 103bhp and 137Nm of torque. This is paired with a 5-speed manual or a 6-speed torque converter automatic. Toyota will also be offering the Rumion with a CNG variant, which produces 88bhp and 121.5Nm in CNG mode.

Toyota will be offering the Rumion in S manual/auto, G manual, V manual/auto and S manual CNG variants. Prices to be revealed at a later date.
