'Jailer' box office collection day 3: Rajinikanth's film witnesses jump

Superstar Rajinikanth's 'Jailer' had a fantastic start at the box office. Directed by Nelson Dilipkumar, the film hit the big screen on August 10, 2023. Within three days of its theatrical release, the movie entered the Rs 100-crore club. Though the film witnessed a slight dip on day 2, it bounced back on its first Saturday at the box office.

According to Sacnlik and the early estimates, Rajinikanth's 'Jailer' witnessed a good jump on day 3 at the box office. The film collected Rs 35 crore at the ticket window. Considering the same, the total BO collection of the film now stands at Rs 109.10 crore.
Talking about 'Jailer', the film also features Malayalam superstar Mohanlal and Kannada superstar Shiva Rajkumar playing cameos. Jackie Shroff, Ramya Krishnan, Tamannaah, Vinayakan and several others are part of the cast.

Meanwhile, India Today's review of 'Jailer' reads, "‘Jailer’ is a film that celebrates the film industry at its core. We have Shiva Rajkumar, Jackie Shroff, and Mohanlal with their explosive cameos setting the screen on fire. And seeing these greats share screen space with Rajinikanth offers several whistle-worthy moments. The film also has many callback moments to Rajinikanth's superhit movies, like 'Baasha' and 'Enthiran', among others, which add a nice touch of nostalgia."
