Mahindra XUV300 gets two new variants, price now starts at Rs 7.99 Lakh

The XUV300 is among the most popular sub-4 metre compact SUVs in India.

Mahindra & Mahindra has rejigged the XUV300 line-up, adding a new entry-level, W2, variant. With the addition of this more-affordable variant, the XUV300 price now starts at Rs 7.99 lakh (ex-showroom).

The TurboSport version of the XUV300 has also got a new variant, W4, which is priced at Rs 9.29 lakh (ex-showroom).

The Mahindra XUV300 range is now priced between Rs 7.99 lakh and Rs 14.59 lakh (ex-showroom). It rivals the likes of the Maruti Suzuki Brezza, Tata Nexon, Hyundai Venue and Kia Sonet.

The sub-4 metre compact SUV gets three engine options -- 1.2-litre turbo charged multipoint fuel injection (TCMPFI) petrol, 1.2-litre mStallion turbo charged intercooled gasoline direct injection (TGDi) petrol and 1.5-litre diesel. The TCMPFI engine develops 110PS and 200Nm, the TGDi engine (TurboSport version) produces 130PS and 230Nm, and the diesel engine churns out 117PS and 300Nm. While the TCMPFI and the diesel engines have 6-speed MT and 6-speed AMT choices, the TGDi only gets a 6-speed MT.

The Mahindra XUV300 range now has five variants - W2, W4, W6, W8 and W8(O). Below are their prices (ex-showroom).
