‘Disgusting sight’: Man posts about unruly passenger at Abu Dhabi airport lounge

In the bustling heart of Abu Dhabi International Airport, the Priority Pass Lounge is a haven for many travelers. However, a recent incident has cast a shadow over this, highlighting the importance of maintaining decorum in public spaces.

A Twitter user, Hims, shared the post and described how the man left his fellow passengers disgusted. The man, seemingly oblivious to basic etiquette, brazenly occupied a seat that was already taken, despite being informed by the family and the availability of other seats.

“At the Priority Pass Lounge in Abu Dhabi, I got off my seat to grab a drink. A fellow countryman walks in, takes my seat despite my family telling him that it’s taken and while there are other available seats. Then he goes on to talk loudly with someone over the phone, spilling food all over the couch and rug, clapping occasionally to get food off his fingers,” read the caption.

The man's disregard for others didn't stop there. He proceeded to engage in a loud phone conversation, his voice echoing across the lounge, disturbing the peace. His words, laced with financial jargon, suggested he was a professional in the finance industry. Yet, his behavior was far from professional.

As he conversed, he consumed his meal with little regard for cleanliness, spilling food on the couch and rug. The sight of him clapping food off his fingers and banging his cutlery without reason was disconcerting. The user shared some pictures of the mess created by the man in the lounge.
