Copparam Shreyas Hareesh, a prodigious 13-year-old bike racer, who became the first Indian to reach the World Championship final in two-wheeler racing held in Spain in May, died after suffering a fatal crash in the National Motorcycle Racing Championship (NMRC) at Chennai's Irungattukottai on Saturday. Shreyas, popularly known as 'The Bengaluru Kid,' was riding a 200cc motorbike when he skidded, and his helmet came off during the third round of the race on Saturday. Another rider, trailing Shreyas, couldn't halt and ran over the talented teen, causing a head injury.

Former Prime Minister of Pakistan, Imran Khan, has been found guilty in the Toshakhana case and has been sentenced to three years in jail.
