Postpone Group 2 exams, demands candidates outside TSPSC office in Hyderabad
The student's union staged a protest outside the Telangana State Public Service Commission demanding the postponement of Group 2 exams.
On August 10, the student's union staged a protest outside the Telangana State Public Service Commission (TSPSC), in Nampally, in Hyderabad. The protesters demanded the postponement of the Group 2 exams.
Candidates took the road urging the commission to reschedule the exams due to a clash with the Gurukula Board exams, which are conducted by the Telangana Residential Educational Institutions Recruitment Board (TREIRB).
The protest led to a traffic jam due to which Hyderabad police had to step in to clear the road for the commuters.
As per media reports, the candidates also said that the syllabus for the Group 2 economics paper was increased by 70 percent, increasing the burden of studies. Further, Telangana Jana Samithi president Kodandaram said that TSPSC should postpone the examination and give the candidates sufficient time to prepare.
