In Sabyasachi saree and Chanel pearls, Rani Mukerji looks like a ‘stylish maharani’

Rani Mukerji has proved her penchant for sarees yet again. And this time, in a stunning and modish black drape by celebrated designer Sabyasachi!

The actress attended a red carpet event recently and slipped into a monotone black saree from Sabyasachi’s eponymous label. She ditched a simple drape and exuded red carpet glam in a feathered hem saree instead.

The black saree she wore featured an elaborate and dramatic feather-fringe hem. And what further amplified the glam quotient of her stylish saree appearance were Chanel pearls.

The actress teamed the black saree with a classy layered pearl necklace. For her makeup, she opted for striking winged eyeliner, balmy lips, defined brows and soft contouring. She tied her hair in a tousled ponytail.

The official Instagram page of Yash Raj Talents shared Rani’s dreamy pictures in the stunning ensemble today (Friday).

Rani, while speaking at the Indian Film Festival of Melbourne on Thursday, revealed that she had a miscarriage in 2020.

“Perhaps this is the first time I am making this revelation, because, in today’s world, every aspect of your life is discussed publicly, and becomes an agenda for talking about your film to get more eyeballs. Obviously, I didn’t speak about this when I was promoting the film because it would have come across as me trying to speak about a personal experience that would propel the film. It was around the year when COVID-19 struck. It was 2020. I was pregnant with my second baby at the end of 2020 and I unfortunately lost my baby five months into my pregnancy,” she said.

Rani Mukerji was last seen in the film Mrs Chatterjee vs Norway.
