RSS chief's remark on Muslims worrying for everyone, says ex-MP Shahid Siddiqui

Former MP Shahid Siddiqui spoke out on RSS chief Mohan Bhagwat's 'Muslim supremacy' remark and said it is worrying for everyone and not just Muslims. Responding to Bhagwat's remark Siddiqui said, "His statement is worrying for everybody, not just Muslims. It should worry the nation, it should worry those who believe in a peaceful nation."

In an interview with the Organiser and Panchjanya, RSS-affiliated publications, the RSS chief had said, “There is no threat to Islam in India, or to Muslims who wish to pursue their faith or seek to return to the faith of their ancestors, but they will have to abandon their boisterous rhetoric of supremacy.”
