A leader belonging to Raj Thackeray's Maharashtra Navnirman Sena (MNS) party has issued a warning to Seema Haider, a Pakistani national who crossed borders to be with her Indian lover, over her Bollywood debut. Seema Haider is currently shooting for her film 'Karachi to Noida' after a film producer in Noida, Amit Jani, announced a movie based on the couple's story.

Amid this, MNS leader Ameya Khopkar, gave a stern warning saying "such drama should be stopped" or else be ready to face action by MNS.

“Pakistani citizens have no place in the Indian film industry. We stand firm on this stance. Seema Haider, a Pakistani woman, is currently in India. There were even rumours that she is an ISI agent. For some fleeting fame in our industry, they are trying to turn Seema Haider into an actress. How can these traitorous producers not feel ashamed? Put an end to this immediately, or be prepared for resolute action from MNS,” Ameya Khopkar tweeted in Marathi.

Recently, a video went viral where Seema was seen auditioning for 'Karachi to Noida'. The producer called her ex-husband, Ghulam Haider, to India to find out more about her life.

"We want to tell the world how this love story unfolded while playing PUBG, how and why she came to India. We want to convey these elements in our film. So, that's why we are gathering every detail about Seema Haider," Amit Jani said.

SEEMA-SACHIN LOVE STORY

Seema Haider, a 30-year-old Pakistani woman, said she fell in love with Sachin Meena, a 22-year-old Indian man living in the Rabupura area of Greater Noida, while playing PUBG during the Covid-19 pandemic.

Seema, who was already married to Ghulam Haider and has four children with him, decided to leave Pakistan and cross the border into India illegally to be with Sachin.

She first met Sachin in Nepal in March and the two reportedly got married as per Hindu rituals after Seema converted to Hinduism. They then entered India through Nepal on May 13 with her children.

On July 4, Seema was arrested for sneaking into India and detained Sachin and his father for providing her shelter. Though released on bail a few days later, the couple were being questioned by probe agencies.

Seema’s estranged husband Ghulam, who works in Saudi Arabia, wished to reunite with his wife and children. Seema, however, has said she does not want to go back to Pakistan and wants to live with Sachin.
