Several clips from Shah Rukh Khan's 'Jawan' were leaked online. Mumbai police have sent legal notices to all the Twitter handles who have shared the clips.
Shah Rukh Khan’s upcoming film, ‘Jawan’ has been the talk of the ton ever since the Atlee directorial project has been announced. Ever since the prevue was out, fans have gone crazy over the film while excitedly waiting to watch King Khan back on the big screen after ‘Pathaan.’
'JAWAN' CLIPS LEAKED ONLINE
As ‘Jawan’ makers piqued the curiosity of posters and songs, fans were shocked to know that certain clips from the film were leaked online. Shah Rukh Khan's upcoming movie, ‘Jawan', clips were stolen and uploaded on Twitter, making them go viral.
Red Chillies Entertainment filed a case against an unidentified individual. The Santacruz police station filed an FIR under sections for Information Technology Act. The entertainment company claimed copyright was violated. Even during the filming, mobile phones or any other recording devices were prohibited at the spot where the movie has been shot. Despite this, the clips were circulated.
The five Twitter handles that had shared the clips have all been sent legal notices. The movie is slated for a September 7 release.
The case was registered under sections for theft (379) of the IPC and 43(b) of the Information Technology Act. Previously, a couple of pictures and videos of Shah Rukh Khan’s bald look from the film were leaked as well, before being taken down again. Eventually, the film’s trailer gave a detailed look at that garb of the superstar’s look.

'Jawan' is written and directed by Atlee. It stars Shah Rukh Khan along with Vijay Sethupathi, Nayanthara, Sanya Malhotra and Priyamani. The film is touted to be a commercial entertainer and features the actor in a double role - an intelligence officer and a thief. The music is composed by Anirudh Ravichander.
