This victory allowed India to level the five-match series 2-2. The match was played on August 12, 2023, and despite concerns about potential rain, it proceeded without interruption.

India were able to find the right combination for the series in the third match when they roped in Jaiswal for Ishan Kishan and brought back Kuldeep Yadav back into the side. While the young opener failed to make a mark on his debut, the fourth T20I showed why he is going to be one of the future stars of Indian cricket.

We can expect India to retain the same playing eleven for the series decider and will be hoping the likes of Gill, Jaiswal and Kuldeep will continue their good form.

As for West Indies, many felt they missed a trick by dropping Alzarri Joseph for Odion Smith. Smith conceded 30 runs in two overs and scored 15 off 12 balls. We can expect the pacer to be back for the final match as West Indies look to record a T20I series win against India since 2016.
