The match was highlighted by stellar batting performances from Yashasvi Jaiswal and Shubman Gill, who together put up a record-breaking opening stand of 165 runs.
Gill scored 77 off 47 balls, while Jaiswal remained unbeaten with 84 off 51 balls. Their efforts helped India chase down a target of 179 set by the West Indies, who were led by Shimron Hetmyer's half-century.
