Blasts were also reported from the godown as the drums filled with chemicals caught fire and exploded, officials said.

The roof and walls of the godown also collapsed due to the fire, officials added. Meanwhile, the exact cause behind the fire is not known.

Earlier, a massive fire also broke out in a coaching centre in Delhi's Mukherjee Nagar area on June 15, prompting the students to jump out of windows. Later, an FIR was registered by Delhi Police in connection with the case which revealed that there were no adequate fire security measures at the institute.
